Screencast-o-matic
I love making screencasts of procedure tasks! Screen casts allow you to capture your desktop or laptop screen as you use it and it records you at the same time. What are some of the useful ways you can use screencasts? Here you go....
1. Create Tutorials
2 Capture presentations
3. Record lessons for home-bound students
4. Create videos that you can upload to YouTube or iTunesU
Tired of creating accounts here and there - no worries, Screencast-o-matic doesn't require that you log in to record. The URL is: http://www.screencast-o-matic.com/
When you log in you will see this:
When you press on START RECORDING, a cropping selection pops up and asks you to put the grid over the part of the screen you want to record. It will look like this:
This is a useful tool for teachers, librarians and students. Have fun!
