I read w/ my ears while on the elliptical machine, I always have a book at the circulation desk which I read when I'm manning the desk (and not working w/ kids or teachers), and my tweeps keep me apprised of the latest and greatest. Some students don't have time to come in to see me and talk about books, but they will check out the books I add to my list. It allows me to promote some of the older books they might miss on the shelves.Mary Reilley Clarkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11813103725312625333noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4138482658827362456.post-67115938915467033472012-05-28T06:35:00.698-07:002012-05-28T06:35:00.698-07:00I am a librarian at a 1-8 library. Beacause many of my grade 3 & 4 readers are advanced I have to read a majority of my middle school titles to determine appropriateness for my younger readers. Also, my students rely on my advice regarding books that might interest them. It is difficult to interest a student in a book that I have not read.Michaelahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14505919888803510927noreply@blogger.com
